What’s the climate like in Tibet?

The current climate of Tibet features average monthly temperatures ranging from highs of 11°C during the day to lows of -7°C. The average yearly temperature is around 3°C. At night, temperatures in the colder months average around -17°C and in the warmer months around 5°C.

The highest temperature recorded in Tibet in recent years was 34°C in June 2014. The lowest daytime temperature recorded was -19°C in December 2019.
